I need some help from a tech as I am a program who doesn't want the headache of in compatible parts.

What I want is a system that is windows, 12gb ram, and supports gtx780ti. So the questions are what processor? I don't know something fast! And what mother board supports what I want? Did I miss anything?

Going to be a slow process of getting all the parts but I am going to go top line.
But my current machine isn't to bad but no dx11, no add, single core processor. Just not enought for games coming out now.
I'll post my wish list tomorrow and you can tell me if it's good.

If you're going to go top of the line go with an i7 4770k, with 16GB ram (or 32 of if your feeling ambitious), 128 GB SSD for windows and apps, 1TB Western Digital Black Drive for games and whatnot, and a 780TI graphics card. I would go with an ASUS SABERTOOTH Motherboard because i've had good luck with them and they have a 5 year warranty. Most others have 3.

I already got a phantom large tower case and a 1200W power supply.

This is what I was looking at getting more or less what was suggested before.

That will be one sexy build once it's done! Depending on how long it takes you to get your graphics card you might luck out and be able to get the 800 series.
