Any truth to this?

Found this on the Darkfall forums and thought it was useful enough to post here as well.
As you may know, darkfall will be hosted on EU (German) servers

Many of us are wondering what our latency may be to the EU game server. It's been confirmed that the server is hosted in Germany. By coincidence, the Neocron (MMO) game server is also in Germany. Another topic all together would be if Darkfall is utilizing similar network technology/backbone.

Feel free to test your ping to the Neocron game server, located in Germany:
SERVERIP=83.236.174.254

My ping is an avg of 179ms. (Is this going to be playable?)

182ms from San Diego, CA... not bad.

Good news, it's been confirmed that they will offer character transfers when the NA servers are released.

dont worry this server sux. iam in germany myself and my ping is sometimes 500 lol...

nc servers just suck.

Plus they are offering character transfers once the NA servers go live. If it's really unbearable we'll be able to move to NA

Rundy won't ever be able to compete with the best, so he should be fine.
