The following information is nothing new for any of you whom have followed the recent beta leaks, but I figured I'd compile it all in one spot for easy access.

DETAILED WORLD MAP OF AGON


===== ATTRIBUTES AND RACIAL STARTING STATS =====


Str : Increases damage dealt with melee weapons,and moderately affects max health.
Vit : Grants a bonus to max health and moderate bonus to stamina. A high vitality may slightly reduce the effects of poison and bleeding.
Dex : Increases archery damage taken from area effects.
Quick : Slightly increases melee and archer speed,and may reduce damage taken from such attacks. Also Grants a moderate bonus to max stamina.
Int :Increases the power of spells,and greatly affects max mana.Also Improves resistance against mental attacks.
Wis : Grants a bonus to all crafting and harvesting skills, Also it moderately affects max mana,and grants a slight resist bonus against curses.

It is currently unknown how much of an effect the starting stats will actually have on character development, but I imagine it will be similar to wearing a wizards hat in UO. All stats will cap at 100, and 20 is the normal starting attribute. If you start with 25 in an attribute (which is 5 above normal), you will be able to go up to 105 etc..

======== SPELLS AND MAGIC SCHOOLS ========

Players will be able to specialize in multiple magic schools. You will start with Lesser Magic and must train it up to ~75 before you can begin learning Greater magic (Which will then allow you to go into the Advanced Schools/Elements after around ~75 GM). There is, however, one confirmed restriction... Players must choose either Water or Fire and either Earth or Air. You can not mix conflicting elemental schools (Can't have a water and fire spec). It is currently unknown whether you can mix Arcane(Holy/buffs) with Necromancy(Unholy/debuffs).

Important note: This is NOT a complete list of spells... these are just the ones listed at the vendor. There are many other spells which are confirmed (by devs) to be in game but the players must find themselves.

Lesser Magic

alfar are quite nais, but they look absolutely horrible imo lol...


mahirim and orcs are quite cool and have only 1 allied race either.

I think I've decided to go with Alfar because of the faction element and the inclination towards spell casting (I'll likely be an Archer/Fire/Wind spec on SekZ Please).

I don't like the way they normally look, but I think they look pretty bad ass with long gray hair... Hopefully they allow some facial hair on these bitches as well. I want a huge ZZ top style beard.

Facial Hair = Sekziness.

The Mule/Crafter I'll be making first (so that we have a crafter to support our mains from day 1) will probably be either Dwarf or Mirdain... It appears as though Dwarf has a slight advantage in their ability to craft (and they are rumored to have some racial abilities/spells that can be found which are associated with harvesting and crafting), but they are ugly little fucking midgets and I think the Mirdain racial weapon (sun bow) would be more useful. So I'm hoping I can decide in open beta whether to make Prada Inc. a Dwarf or Mirdain.

How about you guys? Any ideas yet?

You can delete the map image, there is a link to it at the start of guide... Didn't want the world map on main thread because it expands the borders too much.

No, but seriously... link is working fine for me... I just clicked "Detailed Map of Agon" at top of guide and it's working fine.

Fact is, the game got delayed because there are some COSMETIC issues with the UI/world. The core gameplay is 100% solid; the systems in the game that I have personally experienced are flawless, they are everything the game promised it would deliver. Gameplay is engaging, PVP is straight up the best thing since UO or Asheron's Call Darktide."

No one wants to be the Mahirim? In most games the beginning stats mean squat. Outside of the look appeal, why wouldn't you want their ability to 'get down on all fours' and have the speed of a mount.

You won't have to worry about every buying or re-buying one.
