Mortal Online looks like it could be Darkfalls competition. They are using the Unreal Engine, so that already trumps Darkfall in one aspect.
Looks like their version of a "gank" is stabbing someone in the face.

Yeah nothing will ever compare to the first 8 months of UO , Ever .
FIrst massive computer game , first time alot of people played over the internet , first gankage , first smack talk , first ebay , first bug fest , first big arse 30 vs 30 pvp , everyone had a 7 digit ICQ # like a phone number , and the 2nd person view was a plus for pvp is you ask me. |

don'T forget lord british got killed while beta.
There are not many parts of the Ultima series 1-10 where LB actually can get killed /exploits including.
That was the time when not every addicted gamer was a weak internet emo-toy but serious family fathers & mothers.
That was just great time for gaming and for the community |
